What customers say?

“ Exquisite food. Spacious room for special event like family gathering or important meeting. They served teppanyaki with fresh sea food, and beef. The assigned room has a beautiful colored leaves and water flow view. Additionally, iI could enjoy a natural Japanese style garden that Chinzanso hotel braces. Definitely, it’s worth it! ”

“ One of the best dining experiences you can have in Japan. There, I said it, and I’m completely serious. Why? Well, for one, the food is essentially sacred. At Mokushundō, your personal chef prepares your stone-grilled kaiseki cuisine on lava stones from Mt Fuji itself. The name of Mt Fuji carries tremendous spiritual and cultural significance in Japan as a symbol of purity, strength, beauty, and eternity. These inspirational qualities are carried through in the preparation of the meal, which is also exceptionally healthy, as the cooking is done without any oils. Since the meal is prepared before your eyes, you can be assured that everything is entirely to your complete satisfaction, with confidence that only the finest ingredients are used. The restaurant’s location, as part of the exceptionally beautiful Chinzanso Hotel, is deep within one of the great Japanese Gardens of entire the world; another element that makes this meal a wholly unique experience. ”

“ A very memorable meal indeed! Absolutely 5 star kaiseki to be enjoyed in beautiful ambience. The wagyu grilled on lava stones was outstanding, as were all the other courses. May 2019 - late review! ”
